About GRIPP

Groundwater Solutions Initiative for Policy and Practice (GRIPP) is an independent open global consortium of partners set up to connect, strengthen, expand and connect groundwater-related projects and initiatives.

GRIPP is designed to co-develop solutions to the challenges of groundwater overdraft and water quality degradation. It focuses on the groundwater-dependent, food-producing areas of the world, particularly in low income and emerging economies, where it supports water and food security. Through dynamic partnerships, GRIPP promotes and adapts tested technologies and innovative policy and institutional approaches, in order to achieve the SDGs related to climate resilience, food security, livelihoods and sustainable water management.

  1. 11/10 Bravo. Critical is ground water is totally dependant upon recharge water. The transpiring rains coast to catchment in turn relies upon critical vegetation to transpire rainwaters inland. Equally is the need for the 2-4% of vegetation to sequester CO2 to become soil, soil-carbon. Earth is a Bank a Bank of assets but sadly no Management to “balance Account”. If we are to hand the assets in 100% working order to the Historians of Tomorrow we need today an executive Board as each part of the Bank is insolubly linked. The Historians have their pens poised. Here is what we teach and lead in the field https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YbI8YZmBP8g without prejudice best wishes Robert Vincin
